There’s nothing better than a hearty meal after a day spent exploring the Dales. Allow one of our friendly front-of-house staff to show you to your table upon arrival. Our charming country restaurant features low-lighting and dark wood furnishings, creating a cosy atmosphere characteristic of warm Yorkshire hospitality.
Our carefully curated menu showcases the best in traditional Yorkshire food. We source our ingredients from reputable local suppliers for that unspeakably authentic taste our guests keep coming back for. Renowned local butchers Hammond’s of Bainbridge supply our fresh meat products.
We also offer a selection of gluten-free dishes for those with dietary requirements. While our kitchen is small and we’re unable to guarantee meals are completely free from gluten, our team takes great care when preparing gluten-free options to minimise any risk.
We welcome our guests to relax and unwind in our bar after their meal. There, you can choose from a fine selection of drinks including Wensleydale cask ales, brewed in nearby Leyburn. If you would like to order some food in the bar, just let us know- the same menu is served in both the bar and restaurant.

Lunch is served 12noon - 2pm | Friday - Sunday (No lunch service Monday - Thursday)
Dinner is served 5:30pm - 8pm | Daily

Breakfast
Each morning, guests can enjoy a traditional Yorkshire breakfast served between 8:30 and 9:30am, included as part of your stay.
We’re happy to cater for dietary requirements, offering gluten-free choices and dairy-free options wherever possible.
Breakfast is also available to non-residents by prior arrangement. Advance booking is required- please call or email to reserve a table.
